“While shooting the Saturday Night Takeaway program for ITV at the weekend, TV favorites Josie and Stephen were seen holding hands. This left their fans questioning whether there was any love interest between them.”
Josie Gibson has spoken about rumors that she is dating Stephen Mulhern.
Over the weekend, while shooting the final episode of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, hosted by Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on Dancing on Ice presenter This Morning star, they were seen with their entwined fingers laced together in a public place. And sure enough, it didn’t take long before speculation began.
Josie was asked if she was dating Stephen; her response was rather sly.
She told MailOnline she loves Stephen Mulhern, but she questions his feelings for her.
Last year, the I’m A Celebrity star revealed details about being in a new relationship but chose not to say who her partner was.
She said she is currently seeing someone, but it’s still early.
“I’ve been saying ‘I love you’. It’s best just to get it out there because I’m not into games.”
Fans were sure she had started a relationship with Sam Morter, the This Morning cameraman, who she took photos with while they were working together in Paris.
However, Josie later clarified what happened. She denied being in a relationship with him and explained that she was not attracted to Sam Morter.
“I love Sam Morter. He is my work colleague, and I’m like his older sister. Angelica’s my auntie, and he calls me that.”
Josie’s first high-profile romance was when she met John James on Big Brother 11 in 2010, and the two dated for a year after her win.
Before this time, she was engaged to Luke Sanwo (a plumber), but they broke up in 2015.
The TV presenter gave birth to her son Reggie with Terry Bond before parting ways shortly afterward in 2018.
Stephen, the Catchphrase presenter, is reticent about his personal life, especially relationships.
He recently revealed on Celebs Now that he is not in a relationship. He hasn’t been on a date in 4 years.
This was shared by him on Celebs Now which read: “My last date was about four years ago.”
Oh my God, I sound so sad! Good God, I need a life. Seriously, I work too much.
Emma Barton, who played Honey Mitchell on EastEnders, was Stephen’s previous partner whom he met during a pantomime performance, but they broke up in 2011.
