Antonio Brown, the former top wide receiver, has taken to social media again to share his views, this time attacking famous football player Shannon Sharpe with claims that are not true. Despite the lack of accuracy, Brown spoke out against Sharpe’s latest activity.
For context, Sharpe recently shared a video on TikTok showing his visit to a Total Wine and More store for a signing event to promote his Le Portier Shay cognac. The event drew a big crowd, with fans lining up to meet the three-time Super Bowl winner and discuss his new venture.

The former Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens tight end created the Le Portier Shay cognac with Jay Bradley, the founder of The Craft Irish Whiskey Company. This special collector’s item cognac is limited, with only 25,000 bottles made, each with a unique number.
The name “Le Portier” has a special meaning for Sharpe, as it is the French word for “gatekeeper,” honoring his grandmother, Mary Porter. She played a big role in raising Shannon and his siblings, including former NFL wide receiver Sterling and their sister Libby, in Glenville, Georgia.
Meanwhile, Antonio Brown’s claim about Sharpe’s sexuality has no proof or basis.
However, this is not Brown’s only claim against the former “Undisputed” host. Earlier in February, Brown accused Sharpe, Super Bowl 53 MVP Julian Edelman, and three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt of using steroids without any evidence.
Brown’s controversial remarks extended beyond Sharpe, as he also made an insensitive comparison, likening Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball player Caitlin Clark to actor Mel Gibson.
The wide receiver, who played for three teams over his 12-season career, further added to the controversy by announcing the birth of his seventh child in an unsavory manner.
