Hey there! I'm John Miller, and I love sharing the latest news and updates about celebrity sexuality. I've been a journalist for a while, and I really enjoy learning about entertainment.

James Van Der Beek must be very proud. The former Dawson’s Creek actor recently shared that his 13-year-old daughter, Olivia, is following in his footsteps in show business.

Van Der Beek posted a touching video on Instagram showing Olivia singing a duet with her famous dad on We Are Family.

Van Der Beek added “When I was 15, I first told my mom I wanted to audition professionally. She didn’t hold me back. She took me to NYC, and she walked me through it,” Van Der Beek began his caption.

“So when the opportunity to do #WeAreFamilyFox came up and my 13 year-old lit up like a carbon copy of me at that age… I let her put herself on tape. I got her some voice lessons. And I walked her through it,” he said.

“She’d never sung in front of people before. So proud of my baby girl. And I call her that because when I watched her tonight, all I could see was the newborn in the bassinet who I could not stop looking at in awe,” the proud dad gushed.

“Kid’s still got it 😇,”.

In the heartwarming behind-the-scenes footage, Van Der Beek gives viewers a look inside his daughter’s dressing room and captures her great singing on stage.

Olivia wowed the crowd and judges as she sang a song while her dad waited secretly behind a curtain. The big reveal of who her famous relative was delighted the audience.

Van Der Beek, 46, has six kids with his wife Kimberly, including Olivia. He recently celebrated his oldest daughter’s 13th birthday in September, posting a meaningful tribute about watching her grow up.

In September, the star of Dawson’s Creek celebrated his daughter’s 13th birthday with a special message on Instagram.

He wrote, “Cannot BELIEVE it’s been 13 years… It feels like yesterday I was staring into your little bassinet in the hospital, beyond exhausted, but unable to close my eyes and stop looking at you – and realizing I’d never be able to communicate just how cool it was to have a little you.”
